Successful together

Thanks to the support of many donors, we have repeatedly succeeded in providing concrete and sustainable help in recent years. We are grateful for every single successful project with which we have been able to help children with rare diseases! You can read some of these success stories here.

In addition, we are pleased that our work has received several awards: Back in 2010, Care-for-Rare was a winner of the nationwide innovation competition “365 Landmarks in the Land of Ideas.” In 2016, the foundation was named “Germany’s Science Foundation of the Year.” In 2019, in its tenth year of existence, the foundation holds a top position among foundations relevant to the development of pediatric medicine in Germany, with more than 30 ongoing and 90 successfully completed projects nationwide. In 2020, the Care-for-Rare Foundation was nominated for the German Commitment Award.
