The international Care-for-Rare Alliance unites physicians and scientists in many institutions and countries in their joint mission: to understand the causes of rare diseases and to develop novel therapeutic strategies. 

The flagship of these activities is centered on Dr. von Hauner Children’s Hospital at the Ludwig-Maximilian-Universität Munich.
